1 1/2 minute read: Centrally located in the heart of The San Fernando Valley, Tacos Don Chuy have been killing people's hunger for many years now. And they love it. The restaurant doesn't have high capacity seating but it does its job very efficiently. I've reviewed TACOS DON CHUY before. Their menu offers approximately 30 different menu options. The ones we've tried and love, is the Menudo and their taco combos. My wife prefers the soft tacos and I, the crispy tacos. Their Menudo is PERFECT. You need to stop by, the next time you crave tacos, pescado frito, costillas, birria and much more. By trying TACOS DON CHUY yourself, you'll be able to tell me if I failed you, Thanks.

Had two Tacos Barbacoa. These were good size and tasty, perfect spice. The chips, however, were stale and the salsas (little containers) had turned. I'd recommend they don't keep them out in the open (even on ice) and just hand them as needed. Also, serve fresher chips. That said, yes, I'd try again.

Food was good and the service was fast, felt like our food was brought to our table in under 10 mins. The molcajete salsa on its own is enough to bring anyone back.

food was absolutely delicious! I got the papas locas; the fries were nice and crispy, and the meat had a lot of flavor. I just wish it wasn't just fries, meat, cheese, sour cream, and avocado. Some beans and lettuce/pico de gallo would've gone really good. I also loved the red sauce; green sauce could use a bit more flavor. Their horchata also only tasted like water with a hint of vanilla.

I had asada and carnitas burritos a few different times. Meat is cooked perfectly and has great flavor. Definitely one of my favorite burritos ever eaten. Red hot sauce is excellent. I'd recommend it to anyone in the area to check it out.

Menudo is fire!!!! Not greasy and perfect on the spices. Only thing the menudo can cut in smaller pieces. I tried almost everything on the menu. I don't have any complaints. I do recommend this little restaurant.

Yummm!!!! Their food had flavor. We had the menudo, tacos de tripa, and my son had the eggs with ham. This place has it all. Mexican antojitos, mariscos, and a great variety of food combinations (burritos, tacos, enchiladas, tortas, and so much more). So many options! Come with an appetite We are definitely coming back to try more. Ps. It was worth the 30 minute drive.

First off their prices are great, their torta loca es by Far the best I have tried in the whole San Fernando Valley. They have menudo everyday. In case you're looking for a place that has menudo all week long and not only on weekends. Very friendly staff, very good salsa, and extremely good pickled jalapenos 100% homemade.

I love this place! This place is definitely a good find. Today my mom and I came in for menudo. We live in Simi Valley (but were originally from the valley!) so we wanted to take advantage good Valley food! The Menudo was DELICIOUS! Oh and they have tortillas hechas a mano!!!! (Hand made tortillas) win!/ win! The cook knows his seasoning!! The cook "Carre" is very friendly all around family guy! I like to support small businesses like these, there is so much competition all around. So I highly recommend giving Tacos Don Chuy a try. You're in for a treat! Here's a photo of my menudo!
